Club Service

One of Rotary's five avenues of service, Club Service involves those activities that affect the smooth operation of the individual Rotary club.  The Club Service Chair oversees a number of committees in the club that are responsible for such functions as:

+ meeting greeters

+ club bulletin

+ fellowship activities

+ club membership

+ programs

+ public relations

+ remembrances

+ member classifications

and much more!

Club Service is the core of the local club and is dependent on its members to take charge of the various roles and responsibilities.  The goal of Club Service is to make sure a club is thriving and strong, anchored by the deep relationships amongst club members and a vital membership growth plan.

The other avenues of service include Vocational Service, Community Service, International Service and Youth Service.

In District 5180, there are active Service Chairs for all of the avenues of service along with some added chairs that focus on the matters of Membership, Club Support, Training, Public Image and Foundation.  These are described elsewhere on the website.
