In our November newsletter, we reported the great success of our efforts to encourage donations to eradicate polio were a huge success. The only problem with that report is - it was incredibly short of the final numbers!

 

The final results were mind-blowing! When all was said and done, members of our District 5180 donated more than $63,000! That incredible sum was matched by the District Designated Fund, matched by the World Fund, and then matched again 2 to 1 by the Gates Foundation! 

 

So our district's contributions led to more than $570,000 for the fight against polio!  

 

This was incredibly impressive. We are now considered a PolioPlus "Warrior District." 

 

We asked for you to give, and you gave! Such a huge impact for such a small district. We're like the "little engine that could" - and we did!
