Welcome to April – Rotary’s Maternal and Child Health Month! An estimated 5.9 million children under the age of five die each year because of malnutrition, inadequate health care and poor sanitation. And all of these causes are preventable!

Rotary makes high-quality health care available to vulnerable mothers and children so they can live longer and grow stronger.

Check out this short video to learn more about Rotary’s work to help children and mothers – saving and changing lives!

The priority of the Rotary Action Group for Reproductive, Maternal and Child Health (RMCH), is  maternal and child health, family planning and women’s empowerment. Improving women’s health, including providing access to family planning services, is one of the most cost-efficient and profitable investments to improve the living conditions in low- and middle-income countries. Learn more about this action group and what you can do to help in this area at:  https://rotaryrmch.org/.
