2024-2025 District Recognition and Awards Program
The District 5180 Recognition and Awards Program is designed to recognize the accomplishments of Rotary Clubs and their members in all that they do to serve others. The District 5180 Recognition and Awards Program has gone through an evolution this year to align with Rotary International's Four Strategic Priorities:
Impact, Reach, Engagement, and Adaptability
In addition to participating in an annual awards program for Clubs, the District will also be recognizing each Club for its particular success in one of Rotary International’s Four Strategic Priorities. Each Club will submit a 200-word explanation of the event or activity that they would like to submit to the District for this Recognition. The District’s recognition of a Club's achievement will include a District completed video presentation of how the Club is successful in that priority which can be added in perpetuity to the Club’s online materials and help support their image for membership and other initiatives.
District Awards
- Bell Club – Awarded to the Club that most reflects the year’s vision of the District Governor. Additional criteria listed by the Governor from year to year.
- Gold Club Awards – Awarded to the highest performing Club in each of the District’s 8 Areas, with the highest total score in Rotary International’s 4 Strategic Priorities as the measurement.
Impact - Let’s build the practices, infrastructure, and capacity needed to define, measure, track, and analyze data
from our service projects in a much more effective way.
Reach - Let’s share our values with new audiences, create new ways to bring people together to experience the power
of Rotary, and prove we are an organization that is inclusive, engaging, compassionate, and ambitious on behalf of the world.
Engagement - Let’s use every encounter as an opportunity to show people what Rotary can do for them as individuals
and as members of our communities.
Adaptability - Let’s work to create a culture of research, innovation, and willingness to take risks in your club
to better serve your community.
