In a trip led by Heidi Hershenhouse of the Rotary Club of Sacramento, Rotarians clean and renovate a school in need of help.
 
 
Thank you to each of you for joining in on our Sacramento Rotary Mission Trip to Guatemala.   Everyone represented Rotary & the USA so lovingly.  We had a wonderful group and I am so glad that my first Mission Trip to Guatemala included each of you. 
Thank you for your compassion, kindness, love, and services you performed aboard.   May there be many more trips and blessings in our future. 
 
·        All Classrooms, bathrooms were painted - (Thank you Brendan you worked so hard and I am so proud of you).  Clayton you did an awesome job working with Brendan and completing the final painting.
·        145+ patients were seen and giving medicine which included parasite, pain relievers, vitamins, and dental services. – Everyone did an amazing job!!
·        Orphans were giving clothes, smiles, and hugs.  Including some bracelet purchases to help monetary needs.
·        Water pressure was looked at and adjusted along with testing or water for minerals
·        Mowed the property – Donna & Clayton
·        Dumpsite visit
·        Handed out school supplies
·        Brought Medical, Dental and School supplies to Guatemala – Thank you to everyone
·        Visits to Guatemala landmarks and historical areas – Antigua, Livingston, & Tikal
·        Home cooked Guatemalan meals were consumed and the flavor of the country presented to us all.
·        We were safe throughout our trip J  Home Sweet Home
 
I am very pleased with the way our trip went and thank each of you for being flexible and pleasant. J  I’ve included our current Rotary Club President, President Elect, and Foundation President Elect in an email stating what we completed.  I will be preparing a presentation for Rotary on our trip.
