On September 18, 2004 District 5180 of Rotary International inducted twenty-one
Rotarians as CHARTER MEMBERS of the Paul Harris Society of The Rotary Foundation
of Rotary International. Since that date forty-five Rotarians are now members of
The Paul Harris Society.
Rotarians worldwide share the common goal of making our world a better place. Rotarians
within District 5180 certainly share the hope of achieving world peace and understanding
through the projects and programs of The Rotary Foundation. Our Foundation’s ability
to serve humanity is limitless as long as we participate in both hands-on projects
and provide financial support.
I cordially extend an invitation to all Rotarians within District 5180 to become
a member of The Paul Harris Society of Rotary International District 5180
Every Rotarian who annually contributes $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation will be
awarded membership in the Paul Harris Society. Society members will receive a special
Certificate of Recognition and a distinctive gold and blue lapel banner, which can
be worn with their Rotary pin.
District 5180 is fortunate to have dedicated Rotarians with the capacity and desire
to become Paul Harris Society members. Please share this information with your club
members and join us in the continued development of this exciting district level
program that will build a stronger Rotary Foundation.
